Well, I've got about a billion photos I want to share to wrap up our 2025 Bacteria Bazaar year.. but we will have to settle for 10. I promised a post for each class, so perhaps they will still trickle in over the coming months.

Although 2026 is not a full festival year for the BB, we do intend to put together some smaller workshops this fall. For now, the best way to keep track is to follow us here on social media.

Our home brewing & cultured dairy classes both included delicious sampling of finished product and also a delicious and special treat in the form of our dear friend Yona who flew all the way from New York to be a part of the festival! His brewing friend and Bacteria Bazaar alumni, Jamie, tag teamed the home brew class with him. Both classes were super fun and tasty🧈🥂

Our Miso and Tempeh classes were pretty dang special. Unfortunately the tempeh class was a bit dark for photos, but if ya know, ya know. Getting to taste Yuko's miso and Dan's tempeh was a major highlight of the festival. I'm still quite jealous of everyone in the miso workshop going home with a pint jar of their own miso!!

We all ate a LOT of really good food at the festival this year. Big Thanks to Bouilla & House of Ferments for feeding us such amazing food. We also had so much good bread and pastries from and coffee from Brew X Coffee Roasting Not to mention all the amazing stuff made in classes (cultured butter and fermented ribs were primo) as well as so many treats brought by fermenters far and wide.

We had a truly stellar line up of teachers for our 2025 festival.

A huge thanks to each of them for sharing their time, experience, and knowledge with all of us. We got so many compliments from participants for EVERY SINGLE class. So many people left inspired, empowered and motivated to spread microbial love thanks to y'all💚

We have many, many people to thank for helping us pull this off! I will have to keep editing this as more names come to mind, a mind that is still recovering from swirling with a billion details for the last month straight.

To our crew, many of whom were at the grange 5 straight days and walked up and down the stairs several hundreds of times hauling stuff, cooking, cleaning, running errands- Ross, Joel, Amy, Jamie, Matty, Mikey, Yona, Terri & Mike. We forgot to get a crew picture, but I scrounged up a few shots 😀

Also Anna, Lucille, Gina, Bri, all the screen printers, the HOF crew, Charlie, Michele and all the random volunteers who were brought together over a love of fermenting things.

I know there are more, stay tuned for several edits of this post.
