Dorothy's uniform for so many years was orange and black....in honor of that, some of us are going to wear those colors to the Celebration of Life...this is an invitation not a requirement or request. We are so looking forward to celebrating our beautiful Dorothy with all of you!

This scholarship helps individual students while also promoting and extending the Legacy of our beloved Dorothy Mize, founding director of the Haltom Highsteppers.

We are creating a special video with as many Highstepper pictures as we can get! We are requesting Individual and group shots in uniform, practice and competition pictures, and any pics with Dorothy. We know many of you have been posting pics in honor of Mrs. Mize and you have inspired us! If you could please upload them to this google drive so we can include them in a special tribute to her at her Celebration of Life we would really appreciate it. By placing them in the google drive you are giving us permission to use them and we appreciate it! Don't be shy! We want pictures from all 54 lines!!!!

We are working diligently to plan an event that is worthy of her lasting legacy. We want to connect, reminisce and celebrate the woman who meant so much to so many!
