The Broward County Fair is proud to be attending the Florida Federation of Fairs & Livestock Shows Convention in Orlando! We are working hard to bring Broward County the best, community focused Fair possible in 2023. This morning Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services Commissioner Wilton Simpson provided an update on the ag industry in the State Of Flordia.

Don't miss this Sunday's FREE ParkFest Love & Music Day with the 100-member Florida Youth Orchestra and Grammy-winning jazz flutist Nestor Torres. Members of the Antique Automobile Club of American Fort Lauderdale Regional will also be on hand to display more than 50 classic cars. Calvin Hughes, anchor for Local New Channel 10, will open the event. There will be food trucks, beer, wine and children and family games available. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. No seating is provided. No outside food, beverages, or coolers are permitted, and please leave your pets at home. A limit of one backpack or purse will be in effect. Flashback Friday - Souvenir program from the 1947 Broward County Fair. When Broward County was formed in 1915, one of the first organizations to be formed was the Broward County Fair Association. The first fair was staged the following year in 1916. The fair was revived in 1927 and in 1934, American Legion Post 36 took over sponsorship of the Fair until the 1950s.
