Well, it has been a fun and interesting holiday season, but there always has to be an end no matter how hard we try to keep it going. Tomorrow will be the last show for the year.

We definitely enjoyed seeing all of you watching our version of holiday cheer for Christmas 2025.

We also had a lot of food that we dropped off at the Avon Township Food Bank which really warmed our hearts and will definitely help some of those less fortunate have a good Christmas as well.

We hope everyone is staying warm and having a great start to their holiday season. We are loving how the lights look in all that shiny white stuff in the yard...we just hope it limits itself and doesn't hang around too long.

We have added a couple new songs to the show that we hope everyone likes as much as we do. They are sprinkled throughout the show.

We were finally able to get the bin out for food donations so, please bring some non-perishable food items to help out our neighbors who might need a little extra this holiday season. Place these items in the red bin directly on the corner, we will empty it all the time but want to see full bins as much as we can.

Thank you everyone for coming out to enjoy the show. We always enjoy a friendly greeting from you as we enjoy you enjoying our show.

We are officially open and the season has started! The snow made it a challenge,but we got it done. We have brought back some old favorites and added a few new songs. The show still starts at the top of every hour beginning at 4 PM and the lights shut off at 10 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but stay on for another show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday ending at 11 PM.

As always, please be courteous to the other guests and our neighbors. Please turn off your headlights but feel free to leave your parking lights on for safety. Please do not block the street or any of the neighbors driveways and please do not use them to turn around. The neighborhood is a square and will bring you back to the house if you just go around the block.

As in years past, please remember to tune to 89.9 FM to enjoy the show from the warmth and comfort of your vehicle. Feel free to sing and dance along to our holiday favorites.

The Kolman Family Christmas Light Show will be at the Lake County Maker Faire showing off the technology that the light show uses as well as plenty of 3d printed goodies to purchase. The Maker Faire is is Saturday April 12th from 10 am to 2 pm.

Come on out and see us and a whole lot of other makers and what we have been making!

Well, all good things have to come to an end and the same is true for our light show. Judging by possible incoming weather and a number of other contributing factors, tomorrow, Tuesday December 31st will be the last day to catch this year's show.

We saw so many of you enjoying what we put together and we look forward to doing it again next year!

We will be participating in the CLC Maker Faire this Saturday April 13th 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Faire is at the CLC Grayslake Campus in building F. It is free to attend, it is requested that you pre-register to get all the information.

We will have a ton of "things" we have made from 3d printed items to carrying cases for various hobby related equipment. From laser cut signs to a taste of our Christmas Light Show, The Kolman Family Light Show.

While admission to the Maker Faire is FREE, registration will assist with planning. So…if you want to learn to 3D print, watch robots in action, laser something, write Arduino code, make creations with items around home, and have a really great time… pre-register.
