“Find your finish” has been our line since day one, but nothing embodies it like The Old Six Day.

Last week on the track, we watched people dig deep, find their finish; and then decide to take one more step anyway.

The craziest part? For every mile run, we’re pretty sure there was a smile and turnaround high-five to match it.

We’re beyond grateful for everyone that has embraced the return of a race so many loved back in the 80s and 90s—and we can’t wait to see how this community grows year over year.

Huge thank you to the people who make it all happen: our Skeleton Crew, the friends who always show up for this community, the team from Camden County Parks who quite literally stay with us 24/7, the weather which paid us our dues after a rough go last year, and the runners + crews who come out and do the same.

A lot of Type 2 fun last week but it’s the people that turn it into some old-school Type 1 fun too.

Skeleton Crew volunteers needed for The Old Six Day!

This race runs around the clock for a full week April 6-12, and it only works because of our amazing Skeleton Crew. Whether you can help for a single shift or pop in a few times across the week, it all makes a difference — aid station support, cooking, checking runners in, refilling water, handing out encouragement at weird hours, letting the RDs sleep… the whole thing.

If you’ve ever been curious what a 6 Day race looks like from the inside, this is your chance to be part of it.
