Who is looking for a place to ride this weekend? It is going to be beautiful weather, great facilities with stalls, electric for everyone, trails are barefoot friendly and the scenery alone is worth the trip!

We have a novice ride for those who may be new to the sport, are not wanting to go the longer distance or just want to come join for the weekend and gain a few miles.

Remember to bring long electrical cords if you want electric. See you there!!!

I just rode some of the trails with Wendy Maas and took pictures of the trails. My guy has sensitive feet and he was fine barefoot.

Check my notes under each picture for context. I guess I didn't take pictures of the prettiest parts of the trail. It is where you can pick up speed so I missed it....sorry you have to come ride it to see for yourself!!!

There are lots of roots and moguls along the technical trail in the woods but very flat. Only one small "hill".

There are stalls for anyone who wants one and electric if you bring long cords. There is plenty of space to make big pens if you want to out in the field. If you park where you see the stakes set up in the field you can't bring your horse to your trailer. They are nice sites if you choose to use the stalls as your home base to tack. But if you want to have your horse come to your trailer then choose a spot on the other side. You can still use a stall no matter where you camp.

I included a picture of the road you will cross. We went at a very busy time and it was fine. Long stretch of road where cars can see you clearly. Novice will not cross the road.

When you enter the fairgrounds take a hard left on the dirt road that says barn traffic and follow that to where you see us set up.

Hope this helps!!!

Mark your calendar to not miss this beautiful trail ride in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!!!! If you have not ridden up here it is a must to add it to your ride list.

If you are new to Endurance please come watch to see what it entails! We enjoy sharing this sport with everyone.

TRAILS: Worth the drive - The trails are mostly two track or designated horse trails; trails are sand and grass, very limited rock, with a possible small degree of road riding.

CAMPING: Base camp is an open grassy field with a few electric hook ups (bring electrical cords), indoor bathrooms and water from a hose. We do have box stall available for a small cost. There is also good cell phone service. Camping is $35 for the weekend

VETTING: Vet checks have easy access and we do provide transportation for the rider’s supplies to and from the checks. Checks are most likely in camp. It is an easy ride to do without a pit crew.

GREAT PRIZES: We have wonderful trophies and best condition award with an easy going group of people. On Saturday night, we will have our legendary Be There Raffle! We are always excepting raffle donations.

FOOD: Saturday night we plan on having local pasties to hand out.
