We have a winner! Congratulations to Sophia Faraone for taking the top spot in our art contest. Sophia is a 19-year-old artist with a lifelong passion for drawing. Currently pursuing a future in digital art, writing, and media, her dedication clearly shows—this winning piece took an incredible 10 hours and 42 minutes to create using Ibis Paint!

If you just discovered Guthrie by visiting for GuthrieCon Fandom Fest, you are going to LOVE us for Christmas. We dress up in Victorian clothes for the first 2 Saturdays of December and close the streets for Victorian Christmas fun.

This year, we thought it might be fun to add some deep cut versions of our favorite characters to the line up for our Victorian walks. Here are our thoughts on Victorian Bat Woman. Give us YOUR Victorian twist ideas!!

There’s been a ton of hype around the Con, but some wasn’t exactly PLANNED. Obviously, we all know Guthrie’s known as the most haunted place in Oklahoma, but this hit a little different..,
During our Cosplay Ball in the Kress building, our photographer Darren snapped this photo. This is a photo of his viewing screen moments after taking the shot. No time for editing and the only subject he THOUGHT he had was a man standing in front of a stack of chairs.
We think we see a Victorian woman behind him. Do you? Should we add a ghost hunting team to next year’s lineup??? 👀 👀
