The Growler Gran Fondo will be held on Sunday May 26th @ 7:30am. Registration will be open from 1pm - 8pm on Saturday the 25th at our tent which will be in the vendor area on Main and Virginia. You must check in to receive your number. The Start/Finish will be at Main and Virginia in Gunnison. There will be a police escort leading the riders out of town until they pass the last stop light on Hwy 1

35 and Spencer. The route follows Hwy 135 North to the 4-way in Crested Butte. At that point the riders have an option to continue up the road past Mt Crested Butte and up to the top of Prospector. This section will be one of the timed sections. At that point the riders will reverse direction and return back to Gunnison the way they came. The total route distance is approximately 64 miles and has 2200 feet of climbing. Aid stations are located at Almont, the 4 way stop in Crested Butte and top of prospector at Mt Crested Butte. There will be awards for the top 3 men and women for the timed section. Registration is $40. This Gran Fondo is a Fundraiser for Gunnison Country Partners Youth Mentoring.
