Don't forget to pick yourself up a little treat for the weekend when you pick up your registration packet on Friday or Saturday at Western's Mountaineer Field House! Thanks to our local Gunnison High School Mountain Bike Team who always makes these tasty additions for our riders and their families. The best part is that your support and all proceeds go to helping support the next generation of mountain bikers!

Coming to the 17th Original Growler and want to give back a bit to our local community? Here's a great way to plug in.

Every year, the Growler partners with our local Gunnison Country Food Pantry and asks our racers to consider donating a bag of non-perishable food items to ensure no one in this valley goes hungry. Items in need include canned meats, tuna, hearty soups, PB+J, granola bars and canned veggies and fruits. If you would like to donate, please bring your items along with you to registration and drop them in the bins available for donation collection.

Over the years, Growler racers have donated thousands of pounds of food to those most in need. We cannot thank you all enough for supporting our greater Gunnison community and coming together to help fight hunger here in the Gunnison Valley.

We are absolutely stoked to welcome back the Kid's Growler this year on Saturday at the base area of Hartman Rocks! The race starts at 8:30am. It's so fun to see the little ones rip around and get after it for their own race.

We are grateful to Crested Butte Development Team for hosting and powering this race, and are all looking forward to the popsicles at the finish line.

Ride, Art & RAD – Celebrate Growler Weekend at the Gunnison Arts Center! 🚴‍♀️🎨

We’re gearing up for Growler Weekend, and we’d love for you to join us at the Gunnison Arts Center for a two-day celebration of bikes, art, and community!

🖼 "Riding the Range: A Saddle Story" is our second annual bike-themed art exhibit, exploring the shared use of the land between mountain bikers and ranchers in the Gunnison Valley. Swing by the gallery to view powerful works inspired by tradition, terrain, and collaboration.

🎬 Then, don’t miss the remastered screening of RAD in the GAC theatre on Friday night — the iconic 1980s BMX movie that captures the spirit of the sport and the stoke of racing.

We are a week out from the Original Growler XVII and we still have a few volunteer spots available for folks who want to help us pull off the best weekend of the year! We are looking for a few more people to help out on course, at our downtown party and at registration.

The courses are being marked and recent trail conditions have us all so excited for the races to begin next weekend! We are stoked to welcome all of you back to Gunnison for the 17th year of the Original Growler.

There's one week left to register, so if you haven't secured your spot, now is the time! We've only got a handful of Pup 20 spots left, and are almost at our limit for the Big Bad 40 as well. Follow the link below to register.

The course will be fully marked and ready to pre-ride on Friday, May 16th. Follow the yellow arrow signs, but don't forget to catch some of those epic views out there too.
