Before we officially end the 2026 Rodeo year, we wanted to share a few words from the President of the 93rd Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo 🎣

"As we close the books on the 93rd Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this year so special.

To all of our anglers, sponsors, spectators, volunteers, and supporters: thank you for showing up, casting a line, cheering from the shore, and continuing to support one of Alabama’s greatest traditions. This Rodeo simply would not be possible without each and every one of you.

More than anything, I hope the 93rd ADSFR gave you something worth remembering. I hope you made memories with your kids, your parents, your friends, and your families, the kind of memories that get talked about for years to come.

The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo is about much more than fishing. It’s about family, friendship, tradition, community, and supporting an amazing cause. We are incredibly proud to be a part of something that brings people together year after year.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our dedicated Committee Members, and my family, thank you for your continued support, trust, and love for the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo.

We are already looking forward to the next chapter…

There was a lot of talent throughout the Rodeo grounds at the 93rd ADSFR back in July, and we got the chance to catch up with Lower Alabama Woodworks on the last day of the tournament and hear a little more about what they do!

Their work is featured in our awards packages, but it goes far beyond that. From custom woodworking to unique pieces of art, their craftsmanship and creativity really stand out.

We’re proud to have talented local businesses like Lower Alabama Woodworks make the Rodeo and our Gulf Coast community extra special year after year. 🐟🎣

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the families, first responders, and communities forever changed by September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We honor their memory and reflect on the courage, compassion, and unity that carried our country through an unimaginable time.

25 years later, we still remember those we lost and those who answered the call to help. We will never forget. ❤️💙

There’s something special about seeing a fish come through Live Weigh-In at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo!🐟

This year, the Live Weigh-In featured several familiar categories sponsored by CCA Alabama, along with our new Live Tripletail category, sponsored by the The University of South Alabama Stokes School of Marine and Environmental Sciences. The new category gave researchers an opportunity to learn more about tripletail and track their movements.

And making all of that possible takes a lot of behind-the-scenes support. A huge thank you to nexAir, llc for providing the oxygen that kept the Live Weigh-In tank running throughout the Rodeo. Your support helps us continue a tradition that brings together fishing, conservation, and the community we love.
