Fall is a breathtaking time to gather in the hills at Weatherhead Hollow.

We’ve recently opened limited September and October 2026 weekends for weddings at the farmstead.

Couples planning on a shorter timeline may find our intimate wedding package especially appealing - hosting up to 20 guests (with the option to expand slightly) for a full wedding weekend with the people who know you best.

Exchange vows beneath an ancient maple tree, and celebrate in our restored historic barn under chandeliers and twinkling lights. The package includes a three-night stay at the farmstead, time to slow down, and space for a celebration that feels deeply personal.

Learn more and inquire about remaining Fall 2026 weekends at weatherheadhollow.com/weddings.

We have the honor of witnessing the details of many a wedding emerge - it’s beautiful how each one is unique and authentic to the engaged couple and their loved ones.
For the ceremony site at this wedding, the Father of the Bride grew Lunaria on his farm aka the silver dollar plant also commonly referred to as “Honesty” - a lovely and strong symbol for a union.
He dried them and then placed them in the wooden barrels under the maple tree. They caught the light and dazzled almost as brightly as the couple and their guests. A very special detail full of so much thought, care, and love ❤️

Proud to share that the interior design work throughout the farmstead was featured in atHOME New England Magazine’s 2024 Winter edition – out now to physically pick up (yes!) at your local grocer or shop.
If you’d like to learn more about the origin story of the farmstead as well as how we approach design/build from an aesthetic and dynamic flow perspective – head on over to a store where breaking news still happens in person.
We’ll let ya know when it’s online so you can click and read... We just couldn’t wait to share because we’re really thrilled over here to see our work get recognized and celebrated. We love Weatherhead Hollow and can’t wait to share this unique property with more of you.

“A relentless rainstorm on Friday gave way to an absolute stunner of a Saturday in New England” writes in her beautiful photography blog of this September 30th wedding on the farmstead.
We agree! The post-rain fog slowly rolled into the hollow creating a majestic glow as seen here… it really was dramatic and glorious. Don’t be afraid of the rain!

A historic renovation is all about the details. And your intention for the space.
When we set out to restore the original carriage barn, now a popular country getaway, we wanted a space that honored history while embracing a creative and joyful spirit.
This is the result – a blend of modern wallpaper, whimsical colors, and authentic design features like these antique doors found in our 1800's barn and now used as a railing.
If you look for it, you even might find a hidden note from 1932 on one of the walls.
Rental exclusively available on Airbnb or included in your wedding package.

When we’re not in the groove of hosting weddings or country getaways, we support artists through fully funded residencies during their research and development of new work.
Our puppy Bartleby loves artists! Here he sits below the work of our very first artist in residency, Jen Pressley. Pressley created this triptych, and used custom pigment she made from the earth on the farmstead.
Pressley’s three paintings hang in the 1792 farmhouse – two in the living room + one boldly standing alone on the upstairs landing. Also featured in the last photo is a stunning painting by artist Hugh Roberts.
We built Weatherhead Hollow to celebrate the creative spirit in us all and be a place where dreams can grow. Currently residencies are by invitation only, but we plan to shift that in the future and can’t wait to share our plans.

Happy Valentine's Day! Today we celebrate love and the electric magic it brings into our lives through friendships, partnerships, and marriages! It got us thinking about the wedding that started Weatherhead Hollow (that of Founders Daniel and Katherine) and here's a peek!
Our favorite moment is right after the ceremony – there's a buzz in the air as two families and communities gather together for the first time. Do you have a favorite moment at a wedding?
Cheers to coming together for love and have fun today!
