Boot, Scoot, and Boogie are ready for Elk Fest 2025! The Sasquatch Hunt is back and will take place Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25.

Your mission is to find all three out on the trails and snap a picture with each one. They don’t mind posing, but make sure you’re in the photo too!

Bring your pictures to the campground office by 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 25 to be entered for a chance to win. The prize pot is a 50/50 split of the entry fees, and entry is $10 per person.

🎥 Traci Evans with Buchanan County Tourism, VA was thrilled to join WJHL News Channel 11 today to talk about everything coming up at Elk Fest, happening October 24 & 25 at Southern Gap Outdoor Adventure!

There was a small name mix-up during the segment, but we’re all part of the same team working to make this event a success — and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to share what makes Elk Fest such a special part of fall in Buchanan County. 🍂

The weekend will be packed with elk tours, the Sasquatch Hunt, food and craft vendors, live bluegrass from The Grascals, and plenty of family fun in the heart of Nature’s Wonderland.
