Thanks to the continued support of our local Columbia County Fair patrons, the Columbia County Merchants Association was proud to present a $4,500 check on August 21 to Augusta University’s Healthy Grandparents Program. Elaine Lord presented the donation to Mike Patton in support of this important program, which provides physical, emotional, and social support to grandparents raising grandchildren ages 0–17 in parent-absent homes.

We are grateful to our fair patrons for helping make this contribution possible and proud to support a program that strengthens families and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of grandparents and grandchildren throughout our community. ❤️

Thanks to the continued support of our local Columbia County Fair patrons, the Columbia County Merchants Association was proud to present a $6,000 donation on August 24 to the Fort Gordon Christmas House Program. Elaine Lord presented the check to Lori Pfliger in support of this wonderful program, which helps bring the joy of Christmas to active-duty military families stationed at Fort Gordon.

We are incredibly grateful to our fair patrons for helping make this contribution possible. It is an honor to give back to the families who serve our country and to support a program that makes the holiday season a little brighter for our military community. ❤️🎄
