🌴 Tito’s Monday Night Recap 🌴

Once again, Mother Nature showed up for us on a Monday night, and so did all of you. We’ve been blessed with great weather and strong numbers week after week. It was especially nice seeing some familiar faces back out that we haven’t seen in a while. Summer is busy, and we know there are plenty of things competing for your time, but we always love seeing everyone back on the boards Monday nights at Tito’s!

🔥 WHITEOUT JERSEYS ARE BACK! 🔥

We’ve heard nothing but great feedback on the Whiteout jerseys, so let’s run it back! The next 10 people who place a Whiteout jersey order will be entered into a raffle where one lucky player will play FREE the rest of the summer at Tito’s Mondays!

Need proof it’s worth it? Just ask Steve how much he’s enjoying those free Monday entries! 😎

The wheel was spun and the format landed on Top/Bottom Random. Some absolute heavyweight teams were formed, and it showed once bracket play started. In the end, Carson and Lowen battled their way through the field and took home the win, denying the Ice Cream Man himself, Babo, from grabbing another two scoops.

Now, onto something that needs to be addressed.

There have been rumors and misinformation circulating that Mid Iowa Baggers manipulates pairings or intentionally puts certain players together. Let us be perfectly clear: this is 100% false.

At MIB, integrity matters. We have a strong moral code, and we will never manipulate a wheel spin, random draw, bracket, or player pairing for the benefit of any individual or team.

We take these accusations seriously because they undermine the trust we’ve worked hard to build within this community.

Our policy has always been simple: complete transparency. Any player is welcome to observe the wheel spin, randomization process, and bracket creation at any event. We have nothing to hide and never will.

If anyone has questions, concerns, or wants clarification, come talk to us directly. We maintain an open-club policy and would much rather have a conversation than allow rumors to spread.

🎉 Way Too Late Furgy Show Birthday Recap! 🎉

Turns out about 10 mixed drinks is 1 too many… both the birthday boy and Señor Bags were completely out of service yesterday and are just now starting to resemble functioning humans again. 🍻😂

But enough whining—let’s get to the important stuff.

Mike definitely felt the love Monday night. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate, throw some bags, and help keep the drinks flowing. It was a great turnout and an even better atmosphere for The Furgy Show Birthday Throwdown!

The birthday bounty survived the challenge during rounders, but once bracket play started, Griddy and Chris L. were able to cash in and take down the birthday boy. Congrats to both of them for collecting the bounty!

We also mixed things up with a knockout-style airmail challenge. I thought it was going to turn into an epic battle… boy was I wrong. Babo stepped up and was one-and-done, while everyone else failed to make a bag. Looking back, that should’ve been a sign of things to come. 😂

Tito’s Summer Nights Recap & Summer League Deadline

What a hot afternoon, but a perfect evening for bags! I know it was warm, but as Haris said — it’s better than rain.

Rounders started off strong with Furgy taking 1st, followed by Crouse and Griddy. The wheel was spun and landed on Top/Bottom Random.

Airmail was close! Crouse hit the lip 3-4 times, but nobody could cash it in. That means we’re now up to $100 a bag heading into next week’s Furgy Show Throwdown birthday bash. Let’s see who can finally bring it down!

Bracket play stayed hot as Cat Daddy kept that Texas heat rolling and picked up another win. Señor Bags apparently has a Walker connection because it’s been 3 straight weeks. Mindi and I are partners next week—book it!

Before I let everyone go, today’s the deadline on our Summer Set Partner League. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but if we don’t have 20 teams signed up by 5 PM today, the league will be canceled.

This is an indoor league, so no weather worries, no rainouts, and no battling the summer heat. For $100 per team, you’ll get an 8-week season, a season-ending tournament, and 6 guaranteed games every night. That breaks down to just $5.55 per player per night. We’ll also be running a $5 nightly Sit N Go worth local points for league members.

A lot of players asked for a set-partner summer league, and this is what we delivered. Let’s get those last few teams signed up and make it happen! 🔥🌽🏆
