The Apple Festival Committee is thrilled to share some extraordinary news that has left us beaming with excitement! Our cherished apple light, a beloved stage fixture since 1942, is once again shining brightly after a remarkable restoration! As many of you are aware, our light was broken just before last year's festivities, but thanks to the tireless efforts of Jim Eatock, who began a fundraising campaign over festival weekend, that successfully covered the costs of repairs, our iconic apple is back where it belongs! We're deeply grateful to Jim and to each and every one of you who contributed to this worthy cause, demonstrating your unwavering dedication to our festival's success. Your unwavering support is the driving force behind our continued celebrations year after year. A huge thank you to Century Signs of Quincy for their exceptional skill in reviving our light - we can't recommend them highly enough! We're also indebted to Bryan Martin of Martin Electric, whose expertise and connections made this comeback possible. To our incredible community, we can't wait to share the joy of witnessing our beloved light shining bright once more. Here's to an unforgettable Festival 2026: As American As Apple Pie!

The Apple Festival committee is pleased to announce that planning for the 2026 festival is currently underway, with several key decisions already finalized. Although some details remain to be revealed, we are delighted to share certain information at this time. The festival is scheduled to take place on September 18th and 19th. We have confirmed that the band Wildfire will be performing on Saturday evening. Additionally, the theme for this year's festival has been chosen, and we invite the entire community to participate in the festivities by decorating floats for the parade, as well as adorning businesses and homes to go along with the theme. In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States and our community's rich history with apples, the theme for this year will be 'As American as Apple Pie.' The committee is excited to see the creative expressions of the community as we celebrate this milestone. Help us spread the word and get your creative ideas going.
