We can't wait for the return of the world famous School Bus Demolition Derby to the Western Illinois Fair!

Come join us on Friday, June 19, beginning at 7 pm, as 12 full-size buses bring the wheels and steel to the Bird City Bullring to crown one big champion! We'll also have a run of Lawn Mowers to help pace the evening schedule, and then wrap up the night with live music from Rogue Method beginning at 8:30 pm in the Infield Pavilion!

We're ready to ROCK at the Western Illinois Fair with Rogue Method in the Infield Pavilion on Friday, June 19!

Featuring 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s rock, Rogue Method is quickly gaining steam and an audience in our local region. We're excited to have them here with us to keep the party going on Friday night! Their set begins at 8:30 pm at the Infield Pavilion.

The Western Illinois Fair is excited to bring back a little nostalgia to our fairgrounds for the 2026 fair!

We're bringing back the Midway Tent to our fairgrounds. Some of our more seasoned patrons might remember the tent that acts as a walkway for fairgoers between the carnival and the grandstands, as you make your way to settle in for the evening grandstand attractions.

If you are a local business interested in displaying or showcasing your products and services, we encourage you to contact our fair office at 217-833-2116. You'll have a 10'x10' space. We welcome interactive booths with fliers, raffles, kids' games, etc. Direct sales within the tent are not permitted.

Space is limited, but we hope to fill the tent for 2026! Give us a call today.
