Happy Dolly Day 🤍✨

Today feels like a good day to remember what Dolly Parton showed us for decades: be kind, be generous, don’t take yourself too seriously, and use what you have to make somebody else’s world a little brighter.

That’s a philosophy we can get behind.

Gresham SantaCon has always been about more than dressing up, hopping on a bus and having a ridiculously good night. Giving back to our community is a huge part of why we do it.

So today, in Dolly’s honor, tip a little extra, compliment a stranger, support a cause you care about, read a book with a kid, or just find one small way to make someone’s day better.

And if you’d like to support one of Dolly’s greatest legacies, you can donate to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library here:
https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/

A little more kindness. A little more sparkle. A little more Dolly. ✨

🧸 HELP US COLLECT TEDDY BEARS FOR TIP NW! 🧸

The Gresham Teddy Bear Parade returns to Historic Downtown Gresham on Saturday, September 26 at 10 AM, and Gresham SantaCon is helping collect bears to send along! 🎅🧸

The parade is one of Gresham’s longtime community tradition, and one of the best parts: teddy bears are collected for Trauma Intervention Program Northwest (TIP NW). TIP volunteers respond alongside emergency personnel to support people experiencing traumatic events, and the bears are used in their care packages.

🧸 Want to donate?
TIP says small NEW teddy bears, approximately 6–10 inches, work best.

If you’re going to the parade, you can bring your bear with you and place it in the donation bins near parade registration.

Can’t make it to the parade?
Reach out to us! We’ll be collecting bears ahead of time and will make sure your donation gets there. ❤️

TIP NW has been supporting people throughout the Pacific Northwest following crisis and tragedy since 1992, and they’re also the organization supported by Gresham SantaCon.

Let’s send a whole bunch of bears to the parade this year. 🧸🎅
