There is no Community Baby Shower without a community willing to show up. 🤍

Today, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to the businesses, organizations, and individuals who have helped make this day possible.

Your generosity doesn't just help us pull off an event. It helps us create a day where mothers who are walking through a season of need can feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

A very special thank you to The Venue on Locust Hill for generously giving us a beautiful space to gather our mothers, volunteers, donations, and community together.

And to Swamp Rabbit Moving—thank you for taking on the behind-the-scenes work of storing and delivering the incredible amount of donated goods that have come through our doors. Your generosity has made a huge difference in what we're able to provide to these mothers.

We are almost there. 🤍

Friday, we'll open the doors for our Community Baby Shower—and behind those doors, an incredible group of people will be putting the finishing touches for a day created entirely around celebrating and supporting mothers.

If you've been meaning to donate but haven't gotten around to it yet, you still have time.

We will be at The Venue on Locust Hill this Friday from 1–4 PM accepting last-minute donations.

Bring the baby items you've been holding onto.
Bring the extra diapers.
Bring the baby gear your family has outgrown.
Bring a gift card or whatever you feel called to give.

And while you're there, come inside and see what this community has built.

You'll see volunteers sorting and organizing donations, preparing gifts, setting tables, creating spaces for mothers to gather, and turning months of generosity into one very special day.

It's one thing to hear that your community is showing up.

It's another thing to SEE it.

✨ This is not your typical baby shower. ✨

Our Community Baby Shower was created because we believe every mother deserves to be celebrated, supported, and surrounded by community—regardless of her circumstances.

This isn’t simply an afternoon of gifts and games. It’s an opportunity to see mothers, listen to their stories, meet their needs, and remind them that they are not walking into motherhood alone.

Each year, we gather mothers from across our Upstate community who may not have access to the resources or support systems many of us take for granted. We surround them with local organizations, birth and postpartum professionals, community partners, and people who genuinely want to help.

And yes, there are gifts. There is food. There is laughter. There are beautiful moments of celebration. 💗

But there is also connection.

She might sit across from another mother and realize, I'm not the only one.
She will go home with large items such as a crib or carseat.
She can go home a little taller, feeling encouraged and powerful as the mother she is.

That is what makes this shower different.
We aren't just preparing babies for the world.
We're holding the mothers who are raising them.
Because when mothers are supported, families are stronger. And when families are stronger, our whole community changes.

This is Holding Mothers. This is our village.
