Tournament Day Is Here!

Today we welcome golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and families to Greer Golf for the 5th Annual Scramble for SYNGAP.

From the SYNGAP1 Shot to Beat The Pro and on-course contests, the course is set for a full day of golf supporting expanded patient identification, gene-based research, and treatment development.

The 5th Annual Scramble for SYNGAP is nearly here; and the Totem MX1 raffle is still open. A $1,499 electric bike, generously donated by TotemUSA, is waiting for one lucky ticket holder. Ready for the trails, the neighborhood, or the commute to work, it's a ride for just about anyone. Tickets are $15, and you don't need to be present to win.

As we gear up for the 5th Annual Scramble for Syngap, we're honored to introduce three of the incredible faces of SYNGAP1 right here in our Greenville community: Miller, Tinsley, and Elsie! 💜💙💚

Their journeys remind us why awareness, research, and support matter so much. Miller, 11, meets every day with determination and joy. Tinsley, 8, shows just how much can be said without ever speaking a word. Elsie, 8, faces each day with resilience and a smile that lights up every room. Three kids, three stories, one community standing behind them.

Founded in 2018 by parents Ashley Evans and Mike Graglia after their son Tony was diagnosed, CURE SYNGAP1 is completely parent and family led, and now the largest non-government funder of SYNGAP research. SYNGAP1 is a rare genetic disorder that affects brain development, and it reaches more families than most people realize: 1,806 individuals have been diagnosed worldwide, including 516 here in the United States, with more identified every year. Those living with SYNGAP1 face challenges like epilepsy, developmental delays, and significant speech and motor differences. For them, every day is a push toward progress.
