The Festival of Discovery has been a staple in the BBQ community since 2001, and our friends and partners at the Index-Journal have been with us since day 1!

In early 2001, the festival was merely a dream of then Uptown Manager, Paula Brooks. Check out this article in the Sunday, February 4, 2001 edition of the Index Journal where Paula's vison was shared publicly for the very first time. Join us as we continue to build upon the legacy Paula created many years ago.
