That’s a wrap on the West Kentucky Percussion Festival 2026! 🥁

As I close the books on this year’s event, I want to extend a thank you to our 50 incredible sponsors who made this possible.

A special shout-out goes to Joel Watson, Tyler Casey, and the Muhlenberg County Band Boosters - your support was greatly appreciated.

While there are many more thank-yous and announcements to come, my focus is now shifting toward the upcoming 2026 marching band season at kyband.com.

Check out the combined photo gallery featuring over 800 shots of the action!

I have so many people to thank over the next few days—and lots of great pictures to share!

After 16 months of planning, the 2026 West Kentucky Percussion Festival has finally come and gone. We had over 350 preregistered students, plus over 50 staff members and clinicians. On top of that, more than 200 additional students and parents came through the admissions desk Saturday morning. With the help of the Muhlenberg County Bands and Band Boosters, we welcomed over 625 participants throughtout the day!

I’m so grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success.

If you have photos of your students from the festival, please feel free to share them with me—I’d love to see them!

Stay tuned… I’ll be sharing details about 2027 in the next day or two.
