Bach = Grier. How’s that for a musical formula? Want to hear what a modern cantata in the style of Johann Sebastian sounds like when you have a truly gifted modern composer let loose his musical sense of humor? Johann might do a couple of flips wherever he is residing at the moment, but anyone who has 22 children better be able to laugh. Join us (3/27) to hear our fabulous music students perform on a 1748 Kirckman Harpsichord and a 1787 Broadwood Square Piano. They’ll be accompanying FAC’s talented voice students in the cantata. Both instruments are just two of the extensive, beautifully restored keyboards owned by Dr. Thomas Strange of Easley and are also featured stars in this special evening.
