Yesterday kicked off our first Coalition of Greater Greenville of the season! We had the opportunity hear from Dayna Neff of the Montcalm Economic Alliance as she shared some of the exciting things the MEA is doing in Montcalm County.

Dayna shared how her favorite part of her job is the connections she makes with local officials and business owners, learning what they need, and what they hope to see improve in their community. The MEA has been connecting people & growing opportunities in Montcalm County since 1995.

Shoutout to Commercial Bank for providing lunch and Greenville Public Schools for providing us with the space to meet.

Party on Lafayette tomorrow September 19th from 4-8 pm! It's been a long haul, a lot of work and some unfortunate weather situtations. Although the weather looks less than stellar we are hoping it clears out. Keep an eye on the event page for important updates tomorrow as the day develops.

Cassie joined the Chamber Team in May of 2026. Previously she spent 10 years working as an elementary teacher. First teaching in Ionia and then here in Greenville.

She left the classroom 3 years ago to pursue other interests including teaching yoga, somatic breathwork and menstrual cycle awareness for women. She has also recently begun teaching part time as an adjunct professor at MCC.

In her spare time, she loves being out in nature, dancing, reading, and spending time with her son.

In her part-time role as Marketing & Events Coordinator she is helping revamp and support current marketing efforts as well as supporting and enriching Chamber events.

Her favorite part of working at the Chamber is getting to know the amazing people in the business community and helping to support them.

🍎 Family Kitchen Program
Family Kitchen is a free, hands-on cooking and nutrition program designed for families with children ages 7-17. Participants cook alongside chefs and dietitians while learning practical skills for healthy eating and family meal planning.

📅 Classes begin September 30, 2026
📍 Corewell Health Marketplace, Greenville

Families receive ingredients to make meals at home, enjoy a healthy meal during each class, and may earn a $50 Meijer gift card after completing the program and surveys.
