DECATUR COUNTY FAIR BABY SHOW – SATURDAY, JULY 11, 2026

Registration forms can be picked up at the Extension Office.
REGISTRATION-RETURN TO THE EXTENSION OFFICE BY 4:00 P.M. FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2026
ENTRY FEE - $5.00 (Late fee, after 4:00 pm on 7/3/26, is $10.00)
ENTRY CLASS (by age-circle one) Class 1 – 0-3 Months - birthdate April 11, 2026-July 11, 2026 -wear a onesie
Class 2 - 3-6 months (birthdate 1/11/26 to 4/11/26) Class 3 - 6-9 months (birthdate 10/11/25 to 1/11/26)
Class 4 - 9-12 months (birthdate 7/11/25 to 10/11/25) Class 5 - 12-15 months (birthdate 4/11/25 to 7/11/25)
Class 6 - 15-18 months (birthdate 1/11/25 to 4/11/25) Class 7 - 18-24 months (birthdate 7/11/24 to 1/11/25)
Class 8 – Disney Character – dress daughter or son as their favorite Disney Character
Twins/Triplets/Quads, Etc. - 0 months to 2 years old
BABIES MUST LIVE IN DECATUR COUNTY. WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR PROOF OF RESIDENCE IF DISPUTED.
Babies in Class 1 should wear a Onesie. Babies in Classes 2 through 7 may wear any comfortable outfit. Class 8 – dress baby as their favorite DISNEY Character
Babies will be shown by classes in the following order. As soon as one class is finished, the next class will begin. Times are approximate only!
Please arrive 1 HOUR before listed time for your class.
Upon arrival, register at the table near the door and
pick up a show number before having a seat.
TWINS, TRIPLETS, QUADS:
8:45 – 8:55 a.m. – Twins, Triplets, Quads, etc. (0 months to 2 years) GIRLS: 8:55 – 9:05 a.m. - Class 1 - 0-3 months (shown in a onesie)
9:05 – 9:15 a.m. - Class 2 - 3-6 months
9:15 – 9:25 a.m. - Class 3 - 6-9 months
9:25 – 9:35 a.m. - Class 4 - 9-12 months
9:35 – 9:45 a.m. - Class 5 - 12-15 months
9:45 – 9:55 a.m. - Class 6 - 15-18 months
9:55 – 10:05 a.m. - Class 7 - 18-24 months
10:05 – 10:15 a.m. – Class 8 – Dress child as their favorite Disney Character
10:15 – 10:25 am - BREAK BETWEEN GIRLS AND BOYS
BOYS: This class will begin earlier if Girl classes finish early.
10:25 – 10:35 a.m. - Class 1 – 0-3 months (shown in a onesie)
10:35 – 10:45 a.m. - Class 2 - 3-6 months
10:45 – 10:55 a.m. - Class 3 - 6-9 months
10:55 – 11:05 a.m. - Class 4 - 9-12 months
11:05 – 11:15 a.m. - Class 5 - 12-15 months
11:15 – 11:25 a.m. - Class 6 - 15-18 months
11:25 – 11:35 a.m. - Class 7 - 18-24 months
11:35 – 11:45 a.m. - Class 8 – Dress child as their favorite Disney Character
RULES
1. Open to any baby, boy or girl who is a PERMANENT RESIDENT OF DECATUR COUNTY.
2. Baby age limit is two years of age for ALL Classes of babies.
3. Judging begins at 8:45 am with twins/triplets/quadruplets, followed by girls. Judging of boys will follow girls after a short break.
Judging times above are approximate. Disney Character for Girls and Disney Character for Boy classes will be last category of
each the girl and boy categories. The child’s outfit may be changed to reflect the Disney Character theme for Class 8.
4. Entry blank must be filled out and turned in at the Extension Office by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2026 with $5.00 fee. Any rules disobeyed in this show will result in baby being disqualified. Late fee for registration after July 3rd at 4 pm is $10.00.
5. Both boys and girls born between April 11, 2026 and July 11, 2026 (Class 1) should be shown in a onesie (prints are fine).
6. Class 8 is for Favorite Disney Character. (See schedule above.) – USE SAME REGISTRATION NUMBER.
7. Babies will be shown by classes in the order listed above. As soon as one class is finished, the next class will begin.
8. Parents are responsible for their children. For your safety and your children’s safety please keep your children with you when on the stage and in the building (i.e. no running, no touching 4-H projects,no chasing other children).
9. Entry fee must be paid at time of registration.
10. Upon arrival, please check in at table near the entrance and pick up your registration number. Please use same number for the Favorite Disney Character category also.
11. If your child places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their category, please come to the side of the stage area for a photo to be taken for the newspaper.
12. PLEASE KEEP OUR BUILDING CLEAN – DISPOSE OF ALL TRASH IN TRASH CANS.
