National Free-For-All Championship Established in 1916 by the National Field Trial Club, the National Free-for-All Championship is regarded as one of the nation’s premier field trials.

The 2026 National Championship for Bird Dogs kicked off this morning at 8:00 AM at the Ames Plantation. We’ve got clear skies, bright sunshine, and a crisp 35 degrees—perfect conditions for great dog work.
Best of luck to all handlers and dogs in the opening brace. Let the championship begin! 🏆🐦

The winner of the 110th National Free-For-All Championship is BANDIT'S HILL AVENGER! Korry RInehart along with scout Judd Carlton did a fine job for this big running dog! Owner Ann Forrester was in the gallery to see his performance judged by Dr. Stan Wint and Jarrett Bell. "Bob" had 4 perfect finds and a strong forward race. Congratulations!

Ray, aka Haney's All In, the 2025 National Free for All Champion, invites everyone to the Winner's Dinner Sunday night, hosted again this year by his owners, Steve and Stacey Croy. They plan to top last year's feast with a seafood dinner accompanied by a wild bird Jambalaya!
Tuesday night, the Anna and John Kitchens invite everyone to another fine dinner honoring John Henry.
