It is with heavy hearts that we announce legendary Dean Emeritus Quiester Craig, who led the School of Business and Economics for an unprecedented 40 years, shepherding it to extraordinary heights, has passed away. We offer sincere thoughts, prayers and condolences to family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Dr. Craig served as dean from 1972 until 2013. Under his 40-year tenure, the then business school accomplished achievements unprecedented in HBCU business education, including becoming the first HBCU to earn accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
