What is Community Night?

Hancock County Community Night will be a little bit different than last year. In order to maintain proper social distancing and limit person-to-person exposure, this year's event will be a drive-thru. Because of this, it is important to note that one school supply backpack will be given to each school-age child present in the vehicle. Children must be inside the vehicle to receive a backpack. Supplies are limited - first-come, first-served.

To get in line, enter off of Park Avenue on the North side of the fairgrounds. Workers will direct you into the line to pick up your backpack. Once inside, you will be directed by workers to follow the route thru the fairgrounds. All vehicles will exit on Apple Street near the Armory.

While waiting, emergency vehicles will line the route and there will be live demonstrations to see!

When inside your vehicle, tune your radio to 1610 AM to hear about the demonstrations, as well as messages of encouragement from our sponsors and public safety partners.
