Hancock County Arts The Hancock County Arts mission is celebrating and promoting the arts for Hancock County, Indiana State Street, Greenfield

Hancock County is a growing community with the city of Greenfield as the county seat. Greenfield has had many famous residents in the past, most notably the childhood home of poet James Whitcomb Riley. The growing area is home to exceptional public art, a historic performing arts theatre, restaurants that feature live music, and events such as Second Friday at the Hancock County Arts gallery. The gallery hosts the annual WIll Vawter Juried Art Competition, the annual Chalkfest, monthly exhibits and our Christmas Artisan Shoppe. The Hancock County Arts encourages the growth of our Hancock County artists and has played a vital part in Hancock’s flourishing arts environment.
