Booth 18, right near the drumming booth, will have kids crafts! Stop by with your kids! Any donations of cash goes to CHEARS, and any donation of cute things to go in a ‘fairy garden’ appreciate. there will be wands available of local fruitwoods- Apple, peach, fig, etc with an explanation of their magical
Properties!

We hear there is a LINE to listen tot he Yarn Lady's stories! She is telling stories at 2:30 and 4:00 BOTH DAYS, and you can visit her anytime to see her and her... yarn!
(ps. she is also an Adjunct Lecturer in Art History at American University! She knows stuff!)

The Greenmen visited May Day Faerie Festival this last weekend and blessed it with their chant! Please join them if you can in Parading Saturday soon after NOON! There will also be a parade Sunday! Everybody Drum will likely bring dragons, too! Help carry one! Big Whimsy will be marching, and Greenbelt Honk Situation on Saturday - it will be DELIGHTful!

11:00am Saturday Drum Circle with Katy Gaughan Let us open the Green Man Festival with a lively drum circle to honor the Earth! Participants will connect with one another and make music together! No Experience Necessary. All ages welcome. Family Friendly! Drums will be provided for participants, although you are welcome to bring your own! Katy Gaughan has led too many drum circles to count at Greenbelt events, most notably the Fourth of July Fanfare at Buddy Attic Park, the Labor Day Fest, Greenbelt Blues Fest, Crazy Quilt Festival, Green Man Festival and the Greenbelt Rhythm and Drum Festival.

Festival is May 9 and 10 in Greenbelt! We have lots of vendor applications already, and our choosing starts in MARCH. So apply in February if you haven’t. A few vendors are “grandfathered in”.
