“What do you mean when you say GBUFO is having a livestreamed Halloween Terrorthon? What is that?”
That’s a good question. Here’s what GBUFO means by that:
From noon until midnight on Halloween (10/31/26) GBUFO will be streaming 12 hours of the spookiest content we can come up with (by law), while our staff, hosts, and special guests repeatedly ask you (the viewers) to give us money.
GBUFO is proud to include “Boy’s Night Out” from creator Peter Nehring in that lineup. Peter and some friends began making this slasher short as young people in the Fox Valley like 35 years ago and the footage was finally rediscovered and completed a few years ago.

“'The Boys Night Out' follows a gang of mischievous highschool bullies whose plans to "eliminate" two nerds during the final weekend of summer takes a dark unexpected turn when the deeds turn deadly. One is brought to a secluded rock quarry where a chemical spill has poisoned the pond waters and the other is left for dead in a local "haunted forest" where ghostly whispers of evil have been rumoured for decades. Can these misguided teenage miscreants survive to see their junior year of high school begin on Monday? Or will they fall prey to the vengeful supernatural forces they've somehow awoken? It's anyone's guess in this coming of age tale of betrayal, murder, retribution and most of all horror- Straight out of the late '80s from "America's Dairyland". The lost SOV film from the Fox Valley gets it's most frightening revival, rescued from out of VHS obscurity.” —Letterboxd

Y’all are in for a spooky treat. Stay tuned. There is more terror to come!
