☘️ A Message from the Greeley Irish Festival ☘️
Every September, we gather to celebrate heritage, community, and the hometown pride that makes Greeley such a special place. Year after year, we’re reminded just how many people who attend the festival care deeply about the future of our town.
That’s why we want to share something meaningful that is happening right here in Greeley.
Introducing the Greeley Legacy Fund!
The Greeley Legacy Fund is an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation—joining a statewide movement focused on strengthening local communities and building long-term prosperity. You may have seen their booth at the festival this year but we wanted to share their page in case you missed it!
The purpose of the Greeley Legacy Fund is simple but incredibly powerful:
To build a permanent, unrestricted endowment that supports Greeley today and for generations to come.
This fund will:
• Award meaningful grants to local projects
• Provide a steady stream of resources for future needs
• Help keep Greeley growing, thriving, and improving year after year
Each year, a portion of the investment income is granted to community projects, but the principal—your gift—remains intact and grows forever. That means every contribution truly becomes a legacy for the town we all love.
As a festival that brings people together around community spirit, we’re proud to celebrate this next step for Greeley. We believe that with the time, talent, and generosity of those who cherish this town—locals and festivalgoers alike—the Greeley Legacy Fund can become a powerful resource for shaping a bright, sustainable future.
Let’s keep Greeley strong for generations to come and so we can keep having amazing events like the Irish Festival. 💚
