A pumpkin patch in western Kansas says it will not be open this season due to crop failure.

"The heat and drought combined to stop our pumpkin plants from producing anything but leaves and blossoms and a very few pumpkins; most plants have no pumpkins at all," said Pumpkin Paradise LLC. "We are so disappointed!"

The business says they plan to reopen next year.

"We are not discouraged, we will hope for a great crop in 2027!"
