Jennifer and Sandys 7th Annual Helping Hands Tree
We are excited to lend a “helping hand” this year again!
We have HANDPRINTS on our tree that have lists of food items that Jones County residents need. It has been a hard year for many and we don’t want any family to go hungry! Sonrise Ministries is helping us distribute the food we collect this year. Everything collected will be given out by Christmas.
We have MITTENS on the tree with items that are needed to help our Jones County nursing home residents. This list includes: large print Bibles, large print books, large print sudoku and word searches, slip proof socks, blankets, hand lotion, soaps and aftershave, shawls and lap blankets, stuffed animals, Chapstick and Vaseline, slip proof slippers and candy (soft and sugar free).
We have PAW PRINTS on the tree with items that are needed by our cat and dog friends rescued by Rock On Rescue. This group is based out of Gray and are volunteer and foster based. Their mission is to save homeless, abused and at-risk dogs and cats from kill shelters and provide vetting and loving homes. Their list includes: Purina kitten chow and cat chow, cat litter, Purina One puppy food, puppy pads, leashes and collars, bedding and blankets, kitten milk, Purina Dog Chow, chew toys and bathing supplies.
You can get handprints, mittens or pawprints at Jennifer’s office (Kneaded Relief of Gray, 4130 Gray Hwy) or at Sandy’s office (Middle Ga Medical Massage, 102 East Clinton Street, suite 3) on one of our outside door wreaths or trees.
The deadline for donations is Saturday 18th at 4:00.
Gifts can be dropped off at either office – since our doors are locked while we have clients, gifts can also be dropped off at Middle Ga Medical Massage (text ahead for a drop off time) and anytime at Paul Sheets State Farm Office (in front of Jennifer’s office).
If you have questions, call Jennifer at 478-320-1679 or Sandy at 478-972-8306.
Merry Christmas! Jennifer Copeland and Sandy Chase
