The last camper has gone home. The supplies have been packed away, the photos have been posted, and students are heading back to school. After weeks, or even months, of planning and preparation, another summer of camp is officially in the books.
For youth pastors and leaders, it can be tempting to close the book on camp too. But before moving on to the next event on the ministry calendar consider bringing your leadership team together one more time: not for the students, but for yourselves. 🍂 A fall leadership retreat can serve two important purposes:
📆 A chance to debrief while camp is still fresh
☕ A chance to rest and recharge from summer
🎉 A change to celebrate the people who worked so hard to make it happen
