Serena’s Gwyneth O’Connell averaged 9.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. She made the Lady Bruin and Seneca All-Tournament Team. Come to St. Bede tonight and watch play her final game before she heads to Quincy University to play basketball and study nursing or physical therapy.

Ella Hermes is the definition of an all-star! She led St. Bede to a State Championship in softball, a 4th place finish in basketball and was named the 2023 BCR Athlete of the Year! In hoops, she was twice 2nd Team All-Conference, BCR All-Area & made multiple All-Tournament Teams. Come to St. Bede tonight and you can watch her get buckets in a Bruin uniform one last time before she heads to Illinois Wesleyan to play softball.

Maggie Richetta was a double-double machine this year! She averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Putnam County Panthers. Along the way she made multiple All-Tournament Teams, was 2nd Team All-Conference in the Tri-County and 2nd Team All-Area from the News Tribune. Come watch her throw people around in the paint one last time before she heads to Sauk Valley Community College to study nursing and spike volleyballs on opponents!

Serena’s Makayla McNally scored 12.5 ppg, grabbed 7.1 rpg & handed out 2 apg. She made the Little Ten All-Conference Team 3 straight years, was Times 1st Team All-Area, and IBCA Special Mention All-State. She led her team to three straight Regional titles and back to back Sectional titles. After graduation she plans to attend a junior college to continue her academic and athletic career! Come out to St. Bede tonight to watch her final game in a Husker uniform.

It’s game day! The Illinois Valley All-Star Games are today-Saturday, April 20th! The girls game will tip-off at 4 and the boys game will follow at 6. There will be a coed 3 pt contest between games. Admission will be $6 for adults and $4 for students/seniors. Come on out to St. Bede and cheer on your favorite all-star!
