I’m still in the process of figuring out what direction is going to be best for the track but right now it’s looking like the ability to have a free track open to the public is just not gunna work out…right now we’re looking more at doing events that happen 2-3 times a year and the profits will be given back to the community to bring more fun activities to Tooele county.. The costs of insurance, ambulance and water make it really hard to do something like this for free..

My question is, would that be something you all would be interested in? Im thinking races for different ages and motor sizes with trophies for the winners and maybe some small prize money?
I’ll need a lot of interest in this idea if I’m going to move forward but right now that’s the only way I see this track being legally open to the p***c..

So I heard back from the city this morning.
They told me since I’m not accepting payment for the track I do not need an LLC. How ever, I will need to obtain a conditional use permit which will need to be approved. It sounds like it’s going to be a long process including a couple applications, fees and a public hearing and of course it might not get approved after all that.

All I can do at this point is to do my best and try to get the community on my side to help with the approval of the application.
