This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who gave their lives for our country and the freedoms we celebrate together as a community. 🇺🇸

Events like Tooele County Heritage Days are rooted in the traditions, patriotism, and hometown spirit that generations of Americans have worked to preserve and sacrifice for. As we look ahead to Heritage Days on July 30 – August 1, we remember that the parades, gatherings, music, laughter, and community pride we enjoy are possible because of those who served and never returned home.

Today, we remember and honor the fallen. ❤️🤍💙

The Tooele County Fair has always been about more than one attraction. It’s about livestock, rodeo, derby, exhibits, food, music, neighbors, and the traditions that bring our community together.
That’s why we’re proud to introduce Tooele County Heritage Days — the next chapter of our county celebration.
Same Heart. Deeper Roots. More Ruckus.

Happy Mother’s Day from Tooele County Heritage Days! ❤️

Behind so many fair memories, now Heritage Days, is a mom cheering from the stands, helping with 4-H projects late at night, fixing show clothes before sunrise, hauling kids from event to event, and making sure the traditions of Tooele County keep growing with the next generation.

🐄🌟 Jr. Livestock Show at Tooele County Heritage Days 🌟🐖
📅 July 30 – August 1

It’s almost time for one of Tooele County’s most cherished traditions—and our young exhibitors are already hard at work!

From early mornings in the barn to evenings spent training and caring for their animals, these youth are putting in the time, effort, and dedication it takes to step into the show ring with confidence. 🐑💪

With about 4 months to go, now is the perfect time to:
🔹 Focus on daily care and nutrition
🔹 Build strong training routines
🔹 Work on showmanship skills
🔹 Get animals comfortable and ring-ready

Every day of preparation counts, and it all leads up to an exciting week of competition and the opportunity to shine in the auction.

👏 Mark your calendars and come support these incredible youth. You won’t want to miss it!

🚚🍔 Heritage Days 2026 – Food Truck Applications Are OPEN! 🌮🍧

Let’s be honest — Heritage Days just wouldn’t be the same without great food. And yes, we’re already planning for 2026!

If you own a food truck — or have a favorite you think needs to be there — now’s the time to apply.

We’re currently booking vendors for:

🎆 Tooele County Heritage Days
📅 July 30, 31 & August 1, 2026

Plus, The Peak is also lining up food trucks for a couple of other big events next year:

🎉 Ready to Play – April 11, 2026
💦 Splash & Sparkle – June 26–27, 2026

Heritage Days brings the whole community out — live entertainment, local vendors, activities, rodeo, livestock show, demolition derby, and thousands of people ready to celebrate. We’re looking for a great mix of food options to keep everyone happy and well-fed throughout the festivities.

🐴 Equestrian Update from The Peak

The Utah State Veterinarian’s office has issued the following statement regarding the current EHV-1 situation:

The Utah State Veterinarian, Dr. Amanda Price, has been monitoring the equine herpesvirus (EHV-1) outbreak reported in multiple states. While no neurological cases have been reported in Utah, the State Veterinarian's office continues to receive trace information from affected states and contact participants. Out of an abundance of caution, Dr. Price is recommending that all roping, barrel racing, and any equestrian events in Utah, be postponed until after December 2, 2025. For more information on EHV-1, please visit the UDAF Animal Health webpage at https://ag.utah.gov/animal-industry/animal-health-program/ or contact [email protected].

Because the health and safety of your horses—and our local equestrian community—are our top priority, The Peak will be temporarily closing the indoor arena and all equestrian areas through December 2, 2025. This includes open ride in the indoor arena. We expect to reopen for equestrian use on December 3, 2025.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to protect the health of Utah’s horses. 💛🐎
