Keep Heritage Days Events Together in August or Split the Events for a July Carnival?

We need your input. A carnival is available July 15–18, 2027, but the Jr. Livestock Show, Home Arts competition, and 4-H activities are scheduled for August 5–7. Bringing in the carnival would mean holding two separate events. The other option is to keep traditional Heritage Days together in August, without carnival rides.

Tell us what you think by taking our quick community survey. Complete the survey before November 6 to be entered into a drawing for two free pool punch passes for the 2027 season.

Your opinion can help shape Heritage Days for 2027. Don’t miss the chance to make your voice heard!

Heritage is more than the traditions we celebrate. It is also the history we carry together, and the days we promise never to forget.

“It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us.”
— John Kerry

On September 11, 2001, courage answered fear, strangers became neighbors, and a nation stood as one. Today, Tooele County Heritage Days honors every life lost, every family forever changed, and every hero who stepped forward.

Unity will always remain part of our American heritage. Never forget. 🇺🇸

A few weeks later, and we’re still thinking about Heritage Days. 📸

The livestock show, the rodeo, the derby, the ATV Rodeo, the music, the food, the contests, the entries, the families, the cheering, the dust, the laughs. Tooele County showed up!

It was an exciting weekend at The Peak Sports & Entertainment Complex and a reminder of what happens when our community comes together.

We’re already counting down to next year.

The first ATV Rodeo at Tooele County Heritage Days came in loud and left a trail of dirt behind it.

Motorcycles, 4-wheelers, and SXS machines hit the arena with tight turns, throttle control, flying dust, and plenty of riders ready to test their lines. It had the feel riders know well with engines wound up, tires grabbing, dirt kicking, and everybody watching to see who could hold it together through the course.

For a first-year event, this one brought the right kind of ruckus.

Thank you to every rider who showed up, geared up, and helped make the 1st Annual ATV Rodeo part of Heritage Days. You gave the crowd something new to cheer for, and we’re already excited to see where this event goes from here.

More photos to come.

Same Heart. Deeper Roots. More Ruckus.

Tooele County Heritage Days brought a little bit of everything to The Peak.

From youth in the show ring and Home Arts entries on display to 4-H projects, Broncs & Bulls Rodeo, the first ATV Rodeo, Roots & Ruckus activities, food trucks, mechanical bull rides, and live music from Hale Street Brothers, this celebration showed exactly what Heritage Days is all about.

It was livestock, handmade talent, arena action, local music, good food, friendly competition, and a whole lot of community pride packed into one weekend.

Thank you to everyone who entered, competed, performed, volunteered, sponsored, showed up, cheered, and helped make the first Tooele County Heritage Days something special.

We’ll be sharing more highlights throughout the week, so stay tuned.

Same Heart. Deeper Roots. More Ruckus.
