Twig by twig. Branch by branch. Donation by donation. We built something that was always meant to disappear.

And somehow, that’s what made it so special.

Bonnie took months to build and just hours to become ashes. But what remains is so much more than a pile of embers. It’s the memories, the laughter, the friendships, and a community that came together for no other reason than to enjoy one another.

And now, those ashes will return to the earth, where we hope to grow pumpkins for next year’s celebration. How beautiful is that? 🍂

There’s a lesson in there somewhere, especially for our youth. Not everything we work hard to build is meant to last forever. Sometimes the joy is in building it, sharing it, letting it go… and being excited to do it all over again.

And believe me, we can’t wait🩵🍂
