The Fair industry has lost a legend. Al Westhoff passed away on September 17th.

Al managed the Josephine County Fairgrounds for more than 20 years through the 1980s and 1990s and was deeply loved by our community. After leaving Josephine County, his influence continued to reach across the Fair industry throughout the state.

Al left a lasting legacy here in Josephine County — a legacy of dedication to the Fairgrounds and a belief in how a healthy Fairgrounds can positively impact a community.

Thank you, Al, for everything you gave to the Josephine County Fairgrounds. Our hearts are with his family during this difficult time. 💛
