Time to celebrate our Summer Bash Champions!

Over 70 teams participated in this year’s Summer Bash, and every team came ready to compete. We saw great games, outstanding effort, and plenty of hard-fought battles throughout the weekend.

While Mother Nature had other plans and prevented some divisions from playing out exactly as scheduled, the effort, sportsmanship, and determination shown throughout the weekend were incredible.

Congratulations to all of our champions and a huge thank you to every player, coach, family, umpire, and fan who helped make this another great Summer Bash. We appreciate everyone who spent their weekend with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility today as Mother Nature threw us a curveball.

Rain moved in around 11 a.m. and continued for over two hours. We know it’s difficult to wait and wonder what the day will bring, but our goal is always to play as much softball as possible and deliver the tournament experience teams signed up for. Canceling games is never something we want to do.

Unfortunately, Fields 5-8 simply did not recover from the amount of rain they received. Even while cleaning up at the end of the day, the conditions remained unsafe and unplayable, as you’ll see in the video below.

Once the rain stopped, our staff worked quickly to get Fields 1-4 back into playable condition, allowing us to resume games and keep the tournament moving forward. Situations like this are incredibly challenging because there is no perfect solution when some fields are playable and others are not. We know some teams were impacted more than others, and we truly hate disappointing anyone.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding throughout a difficult weather day. Thank you for working with us and supporting our efforts to provide the best experience possible under challenging circumstances.

Now, let’s turn our attention to celebrating some champions — we’ll begin highlighting this weekend’s winners soon!
