Over the past five years, our rodeo committee and fair board have put in a lot of work behind the scenes, for the fans in the stands, the contestants , and this community that supports us year in and year out.
None of this happens without our sponsors, grant partners, the Foundation Group, and everyone who shows up to help us build something better!
Here is what we’ve been able to accomplish together:
🤠 More Space: Purchased 4 acres right next to the grounds specifically for contestant parking and rig space.
🏟️ Better Views: Put in new grand stands with aisle ways.
💡 Arena lights : Upgraded the lighting across the arena.
🛡️ Spectator safety: installed a brand-new arena fence to keep spectators safe.
📺 Better viewing: Added two big screens, one right by the arena and another in the b**r garden.
🐂 Upgraded Stock Pens: Installed new bucking chutes and lead-up alleys for smoother, safer livestock handling.
💵 Rider Pay: Increased our total rodeo added money for contestants four times the amount.
🎸 Entertainment: Brought in entertainers like Zach Top and kept our rodeo after-parties going strong.
🛍️ Cowboy Market Place: Western vendor shopping area for attendees to shop
🏢 Installed a new Rodeo Office.
These improvements represent a lot of hard work, planning, fundraising, and people who care about keeping our rodeo strong.
