UnCon was created in 2019 after an idea was sparked that could potentially fill a void. The HR Team at Suburban Inns noticed that many of the conferences and networking events they attended had garnered great ideas in theory but were not practicable in the hospitality industry. In addition to that, many of the hospitality leaders had been grown from within the industry with no official schooling or training.
We decided to create a conference that catered to those very things: providing hospitality leaders with practical insights to help improve their work environment, along with tailored training to grow their knowledge.
Despite having multiple years of success with UnCon, we have decided it's time to close that chapter. The time commitment from our team is just too much to justify continuing the conference.
If anything ever changes and we feel the support is still there, we will be sure to let everyone know!
