Join us for the 49th Annual Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest on Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Historic Grand Rapids, Ohio! ​Since 1977, the Applebutter Fest has been known for its historical re-enactments, handmade crafts, live music, food, and apple butter. Beginning as a small gathering, our festival has now grown to welcome more than 40,000 fest-goers annually! Sponsored by the Historical Society of Grand Rapids Ohio, our team of volunteers is proud to serve you each year. We hope to see you!

The Canal Experience at Providence Metropark is open special hours 11-2 today with free rides for Mom on The Volunteer, our Historic Mule Drawn Canal Boat.

Applications are now being received for our Crafts on Front Juried Show during the Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest on Sunday, October 11.

Crafts on Front Street is proudly sponsored by the Historical Society of Grand Rapids, Ohio, bringing together a vibrant showcase of local talent and craftsmanship. This beloved annual event features thousands of unique, handcrafted items created by skilled artisans from the region. With more than 100 booths lining the entire downtown stretch from West Street to Mill Street, visitors can explore a diverse selection of handmade goods, including home décor, jewelry, textiles, pottery, seasonal decorations, and much more. Whether you're looking for the perfect holiday gift, a one-of-a-kind treasure, or simply a fun way to support local artists, Crafts on Front Street offers something for everyone.

Drop your pics! What was your favorite buy from Applebutter Fest? 🍎

Did you know our Juried Arts & Craft Shows on Front, at Pirate Park, and Labino Park are fundraisers for three local non profits? The Historical Society of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Cub Scouts, and Grand Rapids Youth Baseball & Softball receive 100% of the proceeds from space rental and provide all the volunteer labor to manage their respective shows. Applebutter Fest is an integral part of their annual budget!

The 49th Annual Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest is 363 days away, but charming and historic Downtown Grand Rapids Ohio is ready to welcome you to shop, play, dine, and stay any day of the year!
