Jake's Music Festival Jake's Music Festival

04/15/2021

Sorry we've been so quiet for most the the past year. With so many unknowns we will not be holding the festival this April. We are looking at doing something in the fall, but with venues being hit so hard by the pandemic, our plans are in flux.

Thank you for all the support you all have shown us over the past decade and a half. We really want to come back and we will when it's safe for all concerned. Stay tuned.

Hi everybody. Just a quick check in to say we are still hopeful on having the festival this fall. It will depend on when music venues reopen and what kind of social distancing policies are in place. Thanks for your support over the years.

Because of all the closings and recommended social distancing due to the coronavirus, Jake's Music Festival 2020 has been postponed. We are looking at dates for the fall. Watch this space and our web site for more details as they become available. Thank you for your understanding.

The 15th Annual Jake's Music Fest was a big hit this year with DJ SYLX, Cabildo, Stone Soup & The Broken Teeth, Young Pioneer, Emma Loo, Barrel Bones, The Autumnatic, Todd Herring, and ‘The 5’

We were able to photograph all the bands for this amazing charity event benefiting the JDRF.

All done at Elevation at the Intersection.

Thank you to everyone that attended, performed or volunteered at last night's show. Once all the bills are paid it looks like we'll be making about a $3,000 donation to JDRF Michigan Great Lakes West Chapter. Thanks to Perrin Brewing Company and United Bank of Michigan for their sponsorships. Special thanks to SYLX, Cabildo, Stone Soup and The Broken Teeth, Young Pioneer, Emma Loo, Barrel Bones, The Autumnatic, Todd Herring, The 5 Music, and Gilded Revolution Project for making this one of the best sounding festivals we've ever done. A big shout out to the crew at The Intersection that kept everything running smoothly. And finally thanks to our music director Clay Grueber, our volunteer coordinator Mary Scheidel, and the young man who lends his name to this whole endeavor Jake Scheidel. Because of ALL of you we are one step closer to finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes.
P.S. we'll be posting more photos later this week.
