Our Revolution-Duluth invited all five candidates seeking the DFL endorsement for Congressional District Eight to our screening on Saturday, March 3rd. Kirsten Hagen Kennedy, Michelle Lee, Leah Phifer, and Joe Radinovich completed our questionnaire and sat for an individual screening. Jason Metsa chose not to attend.

We are proud to announce that Leah Phifer earned our endorsement by reaching the 60% threshold on the second round of voting. Of all the DFL candidates vying for the open U.S. House seat, we believe that Leah Phifer is most aligned with the progressive values of Our Revolution-Duluth.

With this endorsement we intend to influence the DFL Party's Senate District Seven Convention on March 24th and Congressional District Eight Convention on April 14th. This is the first phase of the endorsement process for Our Revolution-Duluth, and we will hold our second round of endorsements this summer after all political parties and independent candidates have officially filed for office.
