Duo at the Ledge Races

We are announcing today that we will not be holding the Duo at the Ledge races going forward. Too many things stand in the way. From lack of sponsors and safety concerns to a diminished volunteer pool. We truly enjoyed putting on the races for nine years and are very sad to have to make this decision. Henrietta and I want to thank all of the volunteers, sponsors and the runners /walkers who have supported us for so many years. We worked hard to have a safe and fun event that got people outdoors. This community has a lot of great races for a lot of great causes and we hope that you continue to get out and run/walk and support them.

Good Evening Everyone,

After much soul searching and trying to look into the future to see what things will be like in early June we have make our decision. Because of the uncertainty of what will happen between now and June we have made the decision to CANCEL this years 2021 Duo At The Ledge Races. We came into the new year with high hopes, but things have just not progressed fast enough to make our races a sure thing. It is so much harder to cancel a race that has started the registration process then it is to not start process at all. We will see what 2022 brings. We want to thank all the runners, walkers, volunteers and sponsors who have supported us through the years and hope to see you in the future.

Hi Everyone,
You only have until 11:59 tomorrow night to take advantage of our super low early bird prices. After that the prices go up and you'll will be kicking yourself for not getting in on the low prices. Do it now before you forget. See you in June.

We are now just over 5 months away from the start of the 10th annual Duo at the Ledge Races. The races this year are on June 6th. Register now through the end of the month and you will get our super low early bird special pricing which happens to be the same prices we were charging when we started back in 201. February 1 the prices go up so register now while it is fresh in your mind. See you in June

Less then 40 hours before the races. It is not too late to signup. Just decide on your distance. 1/2 marathon,10k, or 5k. This way you will get your run in for the day before it gets too hot. we will have a lot of great volunteers cheering you on. Remember you get a discount on your entry if to donate $25 or $50 to our local cause

Good Morning
We only have a few days before the running of the Races. It's not too late to sign up and donate to our local cause of giving gift cards to local deserving student athletes to buy running shoes at Playmakers for the Fall cross-country season. We are hoping for $2000 in donations.. The weather is looking good at this point. It is Michigan so it can change, but there is NO rain in the forecast and the temps. will be in the normal range.

Time seems to be flying by. It is now less then 3 weeks to the Duo at the Ledge races. Remember our entry fee discounts Get family and or friends to sign up with you and get a discount. Give $25 or $50 or more as a donation to help us give gift cards to Lansing area student /athletes to buy running shoes for the fall cross-country season and you will get a discount.
Our 5k races is one of twelve in the Greater Lansing Area Races Series.
Last but not least we are in need of volunteers it will only take a few hours or even less of your time to help make this event a safe and enjoyable race for all. It's fun and you get a Free shirt, Free food and a chance to win one of over 100 prizes we will be giving away. Signing up as a volunteer is as simple as going to the website http://runsignup.com/duoattheledge scroll down to volunteer answer a few questions and you are set to go and we thank you. It takes about 150 volunteers to make this work.

Just a quick reminder that prices for all the races will be going up the day after tomorrow on Wednesday May 1st. Signup now and save. Also remember you can get even more of a discount by getting friends or family to sign up with you or made a donation to the local cause and get a discount. This years local cause is gift cards for deserving student /athletes from the greater Lansing Area to buy running shoes for the fall cross-country season. More donations equals more gift cards

This Friday night is the third race in the Greater Lansing Area Race series. The Commercial Bank of Mason 5k in Mason. Keep on running and we will see you in a few weeks.

Happy Sunday
I hope everyone in Michigan enjoyed this great day with temp's in the 70's.. Just want to make you're aware of a couple things. First the entry fee prices will be going up on the May 1 sign up now before the price goes up and save a few bucks. Second I want to make sure you know that our local cause this year is to give 30-40 gift cards to Playmakers to deserving student athletes to buy running shoes for the fall cross-country season. Part of the proceeds and all of the donations will go to this cause. As part of that if you make a donation of $25 or $50 dollars you will get a reduced entry fee to your race.
