Join KFFR 88.3 FM 📻 at our favorite beach front location Gene Stover Lakefront Park!!! They will be celebrating 10yrs ON AIR as well as raising funds for a Grand Lake, Colorado satellite radio station!!!!

On June 6th in Grand Lake, we’re playing FROM THE BARGE! That’s right, the music will be floating on the water at Gene Stover Lake Front Park. 🚤🎶

We are kicking off the summer vibes with visiting favorite Lance Rogers, followed by the heavy reggae grooves of Skankin' Nation to keep the mountain air moving. 🎸🏔️

🏝️ THE VIBE: Come dressed in your reggae and beach-vibe best! We’re talking Bob Marley tees, tropical prints, and whatever makes you feel like you're on island time.
🌴 Honestly, bring the flamingo blow-ups, the water tubes, and the beach balls! 🦩

📅 WHEN: Saturday, June 6th | 4 PM – 8 PM
📍 WHERE: Gene Stover Lake Front Park, Grand Lake
🧺 WHAT TO BRING: Picnic blankets, your favorite beverages (BYOB), camping chairs or seats, and your dancing shoes (or flip-flops).

🔥 THE MISSION: This event is a huge push for our Grand Lake Satellite Radio Station! 📻 We are working hard to build a permanent home for radio in Grand Lake to connect the town to the county, the county to the town, and let's be real, Grand Lake to itself (those lakes are big, yo!). 🌊🏘️

You can contribute directly at the event to help us buy essential gear. Want to "sponsor" a microphone? A headphone set? A mixing board? Every bit helps us get on the airwaves in Grand Lake. 🎙️🎧

Fire on the Mountain Announces Conclusion of Troublesome Fest and Nonprofit Operations

GRAND LAKE, CO — 10/22/25 — Fire on the Mountain Incorporated has made the decision to conclude Troublesome Fest and formally dissolve the nonprofit at the end of this year. After several meaningful and successful years of community engagement and wildfire recovery support, we feel it’s the right time to bring this chapter to a close.

Troublesome Fest began as a way to come together in the wake of the East Troublesome Fire—to heal, to connect, and to give back. Thanks to the generosity and energy of our community, sponsors, volunteers, and musicians, the event became a celebration of resilience and shared purpose.

As we move forward, we believe the mission and values that inspired Fire on the Mountain will continue to live on through the many incredible organizations in Grand County that are doing important work around wildfire education, recovery, and community resilience. We’re confident there will be no lost value to the community, and we’re proud to have played a part in the broader effort.

We are deeply grateful for the support we’ve received over the years and extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this work possible.

The remaining donations will be awarded to the Grand County Wildfire Counsel as well as the high school fire science program.

WOW 🤩 TROUBLESOME FEST 2024 WAS ONE FOR THE BOOKS!!!!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering support of our community! Thankful for every individual who contributed their time and effort!! Mind blown by the exceptional talent that graced the TROUBLESOME FEST stage, captivating our audience the entire day!! Finally, completely awestruck by the love that filled our hearts as we celebrated our resilient community and each other last Saturday!!!

It’s hard to put into words what this event means to us. It is a year long journey that always consists of blood, sweat and tears culminating into one beautiful day. We had some major hurtles to climb this year but truly believe it turned out to be the best year yet!!! We hope you all feel the same and had an outstanding time celebrating with us!
