👸In The Queen of Rizz - Guinevere attempts to explain Courtly Love thru a series of stunts designed to earn the favor of audience members. She slays a dragon, performs feats of strength and all goes well until Lancelot decides he'd like to try....

🥕In Vegetable Justice audience members get a chance for justice! Does your husband leave the toilet seat up? Do your children not pick up their toys? now is your chance to see them punished for their crimes! Don't worry, Lancelot and Gwenievere promise that every ex*****on will be followed by a fair trial.

⚔In My Assistant Might Die- Guinevere and Lancelot are able to perform their most dangerous stunts because it's the last show of the day she probably won't need his assistance later on. Don't worry she took out a huge life insurance policy on him. Look foreward to fire breathing! Knives! Hoola hoops on fire!

For our first Rural Creative Connections session of the year, we’re heading (virtually) to Grand Junction to meet Dierdre Monroe—co-owner of Sweet River Event Venue and organizer of the returning Mesa County Fantasy Faire.

Deirdre is reimagining this cultural festival by blending creativity, community, and economic opportunity for rural creatives. She’ll share what it takes to revive a beloved event, build new partnerships, and grow something sustainable from the ground up.

After the spotlight, we’ll move into rounds of 1:1 networking—a chance to share what you’re working on, what you need help with, and connect with fellow rural creatives.

We had a fantastic time at the Price Renaissance Festival. It was wonderful to see the city produce such a great event. They’re in their fifth year, and we hope they enjoy many more to come.

We were all over the park. Dierdre/Shalini danced with the band at the tavern, they watch buhurt battles in person for the first time, and William/Sinister—dressed as Gandalf, his favorite costume—was invited to join the Maypole segment during the Mayada Banjara World Dancers performance.

We spent some time with the organizers of the SCA’s War of the Three Ravens, and one of them even entered the costume competition, proudly sporting her kingdom colors. We watched the Rumpelstiltskin skit. We both posed for photos with guests who asked.

Next weekend may be War of the Three Ravens, not sure yet—stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy the photo dump.
