Join us every Friday from 4-6PM on 3rd Street between N. Locust and N. Walnut as our downtown businesses open their doors! FYI- this section of the street will be blocked off all evening, so plan for parking elsewhere!

These local businesses help support Hear Grand Island all summer long — now it’s our turn to support them! Shop local, grab dinner, enjoy live music, and make a night of it in downtown Grand Island. ❤️

🤠 WEEK 5 = COUNTRY NIGHT at HEAR GRAND ISLAND 🤠

Our 5th night will be full of storytelling, hometown roots, and country music that was made to be played loud under the summer sky.

🎤 Opening the night…
A rising singer-songwriter from South Dakota who’s quickly making a name for himself in the country music scene. After turning heads at a Nashville showcase and landing a Top 2 finish at the Deadwood Songwriters Festival, his powerful voice and honest songwriting are proving he’s one to watch.

🎸 Up next…
A Nebraska-grown artist whose journey into music started with a Christmas guitar gift and a passion for storytelling. From small-town roots and family life to heartfelt originals inspired by real experiences, his music connects in the kind of way country music is supposed to!

🔥 Headlining the night…
A Nebraska Country Music Foundation Hall of Fame inductee from Superior, NE with deep country roots and a southern rock edge. Raised in a family of musicians and building his career from the ground up, this hometown favorite brings real-life stories, gritty originals, and the kind of energy that keeps crowds coming back year after year.

Para celebrar nuestro 10 aniversario, queremos reconocer la música y la gente que hacen nuestra comunidad tan especial. Hear Grand Island siempre se ha tratado de unir a las personas—¡y la Semana 4 será una gran fiesta para todos!

Un talentoso grupo de 5 integrantes de Nebraska que está destacando en la escena regional de música sierreña. Con mucha energía y gran talento musical, se han convertido en favoritos de Nebraska y más allá.

🎺 Encabezando la noche…
Una increíble banda norteña de 8 integrantes con un sonido enorme gracias al acordeón, tuba, batería, trompetas y más. Tal vez ya los viste recientemente tocando aquí mismo en Grand Island ¡Desde Omaha, este grupo sabe cómo armar una verdadera FIESTA!

For our 10th anniversary, we’re celebrating the music and people that make our community so special. Hear Grand Island has always been about bringing people together—and Week 4 is going to be one big fiesta!

🎶 Opening the night… A talented 5-piece group from Nebraska making waves in the regional sierreña music scene. Known for bringing energy and incredible musicianship everywhere they play, they’ve become a favorite across Nebraska and beyond.

🎺 Headlining the night… An electrifying 8-piece norteño banda bringing a huge sound with accordion, tuba, drums, trumpets, and more! You may have recently seen them performing right here in Grand Island! Coming out of Omaha, this group knows how to throw a PARTY!

One community. One celebration. Don't forget your dancing boots and cowboy hats!

🎸🔥 WEEK 3 = a little country… and a WHOLE LOTTA ROCK at HEAR GRAND ISLAND 🔥🎸

We’re turning up the volume for Night 3 of our 10th anniversary—and this lineup brings the grit, the edge, and the energy 👀

🎤 Kicking things off…
A rising artist who’s already making BIG moves—fresh off opening her first arena show. Even with a recent shoulder injury, she’s not slowing down… still writing, producing, and showing up with powerhouse vocals and undeniable stage presence. This is just the beginning for her, and you’ll want to say you saw her early!

🎸 Up next…
A Nebraska native who took his sound to Nashville, cutting his teeth on covers before carving out his own lane in rock right here in our own backyard. Now he’s building a catalog of original music that’s turning heads—and trust us, once you hear it, you’ll get it (we found his Spotify playlist- so we know).

🤘 And your headliner…
A high-energy 4-piece rock band that knows how to bring a crowd to life. With major shows already under their belt—including sharing stages with big names and landing an opening slot for Hairball later this summer—these guys are on the rise and ready to blow the roof off. Loud guitars, big vocals, and a show built for a Friday night! (Don't worry their name is not enforced on the grounds...)
