What an incredible 2026 Kite Festival @ Grand Haven!

Thanks to all of you, and the wind, the sky, the sun, and every single performer and volunteer ~ from the amazing Art Kite field to the mesmerizing Performance Arena to the fantastic Show Kite field ~ pure Grand Haven magic!

We are brought to the beach every year by donations from generous people like you. Please help us be there May 22 & 23, 2027!

Thank you for an incredible weekend ~ it was nothing short of magical!

From the whimsical show kites, to the stunning art kites, to the intricate kite ballets; from the wind, to the sun, to the crowds, it all came together in an incredibly perfect way, giving us a simply superb weekend.

See you next year, May 22 & 23, 2027!

And just like that - The Kite Festival @ Grand Haven begins tomorrow! Our event is brought to you through donations of people just like you. We will have event shirts and other cool items available for a donation using a credit card or cash. Your generosity will help bring this event back next year and we appreciate any donation amount! Well, then you should stop by the donations tent on Saturday or Sunday and pick up your very own Kite Festival @ Grand Haven Activity Book. Created by Rob and Tena Viehl, this book is sure to be a hit with your family! Saturday, May 16, 10am - 5pm, and Sunday, May 17, 11am - 5pm (wind and weather permitting).

Still smiling after all these years! The Chicago Fire Kite Team (founded in 1986), The Windjammers (founded in 1982), and Team Sky-FX (founded in 2016). We are only 2 days away from one of our favorite festivals of the year! The teams are ready to perform their incredible choreographed routines for you - we just can't wait!
